We love hot chocolate over here! Whether it's after spending an afternoon playing in the snow, while watching a Christmas movie, or while driving around looking at Christmas lights... hot chocolate makes everything better. Also, our Hot Chocolate Bar is so festive in our kitchen!
In this blog I'll be sharing 7 Hot Chocolate Bar Essentials: Christmas Edition so you can easily create your own Hot Cocoa Bar this holiday season.
7 Hot Chocolate Bar Essentials: Christmas Edition
Having a Mini Keurig in our Hot Chocolate Bar makes things so quick and easy! We now use a Nespresso for morning coffee, but this Mini Keurig is always part of our Hot Chocolate Bar to make things easy for the kids. I keep pods on hand (you can even style these on your Hot Cocoa Bar with a rotating holder thing) so we can make Hot Chocolate any time. (Don't forget the Hot Chocolate Keurig Pods!)
2. Large Tray + Mini Cake Stand
I like to have a few items on display for a festive look on our Hot Chocolate Tray. I love having out Hot Chocolate Bar on a Tray in our kitchen so it keeps it altogether in one spot. It's the cutest corner of the kitchen!
I like using a Mini Cake Stand to "lift" a few items up. It helps add dimension to the Hot Chocolate Bar. It also helps position the Hot Cocoa Bar decor and styling of the tray interesting.
3. Festive Storage
There are so many different things you can do to show off your Hot Chocolate toppings, etc. These Clear Box Jars are so cute! These Mason Jars are another cute option to show off the Hot Cocoa Powder, Marshmallows, Mini Candy Canes, Sprinkles, Chocolate Chips, etc.
I also like to have these Mini Marshmallow Stir Sticks sticking up out of a mug on the Hot Chocolate Bar. They are so festive and fun.
You've gotta have some cute Santa mugs to style your Hot Chocolate Bar! There are so many fun Christmas and holiday mugs. It's hard to control myself. :) Haha. These Stacked Snowman Mugs would look darling on the Hot Chocolate Bar.
This Boho Christmas Tree Mug is adorable! These Personalized Christmas Mugs would be so fun for the kids. How cute are these Personalized North Pole Mugs! This would be a cute gift from the Elves. (You can read all about our Elves and 11 Creative Elf on the Shelf Ideas HERE.)
If you're more of an Iced Coffee lover, this Grinch Glass is so much fun. All of these mugs would be darling at any Hot Cocoa Station!
5. Hot Chocolate Bombs + Chocolate Sauce
6. Santa Decor
I like to add a little Santa to the Hot Chocolate Bar to keep things festive. This Gnome Santa Set is so cute. You could use all three or even just one!
7. Letter Board + Wooden Signs
How adorable are these Wooden Hot Cocoa Bar Signs! We love our Letter Board. Sometimes the Elves even leave funny notes on our Letter Board for us. ;) This is a fun way to personalize your Hot Cocoa Station and name it something fun.
More Hot Chocolate Bar Ideas:
1. Electric Kettle + Hot Cocoa Mix
If you don't want to use a Keurig to make Hot Chocolate Pods, you could always keep an Electric Kettle on the counter. I love our Electric Kettle and use it all the time! This is also a quicker way to make many cups of Hot Chocolate at a time. You can use your Electric Kettle and this Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix! I always have these Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix on hand. We offer Hot Chocolate to every visit in the winter months!
2. Holiday Cocoa Gift Sets
You can buy this adorable Holiday Cocoa Gift Set and use them in your own Hot Chocolate Bar or you could give them as gifts! I also love this Hot Chocolate Mix Gift Set. So much fun for kids. They are adorable gift ideas for friends and family in the holiday season.
